    Position Description

    I-PR is seeking a Junior Communications Consultant for new and exciting freelance opportunities. Here, the consultant will have the flexibility to work remotely and on a variety of accounts including food and beverage, real estate, business, and entertainment. If you have the confidence to develop engaging content, share fresh ideas, and meet deadlines - this position may interest you.

     

    The ideal applicant will serve as one of the powerhouse players of our growing agency. The Junior Communications Consultant candidates should be knowledgable, curious, and serve as a resource for their teammates.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Must have a strong background in written and verbal communications
    • Support PR practitioners with editing documents for quality assurance
    • Clear and honest communication with PR consultants and clients
    • Takes ownership of the creative ideation process
    • Sets strategy/plan for clients (aligns with sales team’s materials, client goals, and is a collaborative process)
    • Helps build editorial calendars and the strategic direction of proposal pitches
    • Confidently participates in weekly calls with PR consultants regarding vision, goals, challenges, budgets, issues, etc.
    • Holds team to highest possible standards identifies areas for improvement and works with the IndependentlyPR team to address

    Additional Notes

    • Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience writing, editing, and producing original content
    • Consistent and strong social media presence is a plus
    • Able to meet varying deadlines and able to work with grace under pressure
    • Open-mindedness to diverse groups, communities, and lifestyles a plus

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s (Required)
