WASHINGTON (June 1, 2019) - Capital Vacation Rentals launches their partnership program for local, small businesses across Washington, DC.

With many travellers demanding more immersive and cultural experiences, Capital Vacation Rentals seeks to partner with at least 20 entrepreneurs, brick and mortar businesses, and remote service providers in the first phase of their program rollout. Since 2016, Capital Vacation Rentals has accommodated more than six thousand reservations and are planning to expand to more neighborhoods in the District as well as occupy space in booming markets located in capital cities across the U.S. The company’s loyal network of businesses will offer authentic experiences, products, and services for travellers, as well as local residents that may want to take advantage of the perks. To date, Capital Vacation Rentals partners include coffee houses, private chefs, beauticians, barbers, and cleaning service providers.

“As entrepreneurs, we should work together more to grow our local ecosystem by taking an active role to help create a thriving small business community as opposed to trying to survive in silos,” said Olatokunbo Fakinlede, CEO of Capital Vacation Rentals.

There is no cost to join the Capital Tribe Partnership Program, but the company hopes that businesses will offer incentives to travelers as well as local DC residents that would also like to patronize more of these services.

As a partner, Capital Vacation Rentals plans to host exclusive events such as food tastings, open houses, and pop up exhibits with local artists to learn more about each other. Additionally, the company also hopes that more event space property managers, home owners, and renters will consider hosting their properties through their website in a collective effort to support the local ecosystem and drive awareness to the growing number of unique offerings available in the historic Petworth community.
