Stellar-Nominated Producer Nathan “Impact” Jolley Hosts 6th Annual Live Jazz Performance and Toy Drive

Washington DC native multi-instrumentalist, drummer, and producer calls for support to donate 100 toys to local organizations in one night

December 17, 2018

WASHINGTON - (December 17, 2018) -- Nominated for a 2018 Stellar-award for his production on Grammy-nominated R&B singer, Kenny Lattimore’s “A Kenny Lattimore Christmas," Nate Impact continues his tradition by hosting his 6th annual A Jolley Christmas live jazz performance and toy drive at Sotto located at 1610 14th Street NW Washington, DC at 8 PM on December 22.

Since 2012, the Billboard hitmaker and his twin brother, acclaimed pianist Noble Jolley Jr. has been hosting A Jolley Christmas under his former company, Ready, Set, Impact every year, except 2015, hosting live music performances at the historic Bohemian Cavern (now closed) in collaboration with Toys 4 Tots and Starbucks. This year, Nate Impact, who now resides in Los Angeles, CA, returns home to the District to host this event at a new location and under the direction of his new company, Lion Pack Music Group but with the same mission of donating at least 100 toys in just one night to local organizations and individual families.

But for Nate Impact giving back does not just start and end during the holidays. Beginning in 2009, as students at John Hopkins University Peabody Conservatory the Jolley brothers helped launch a multimillion-dollar scholarship fund in their father’s name, respected musician Noble Levi Jolley, Sr. for other jazz music students.

Giving back to the community is important and kids should be able to feel special and loved especially around the holidays,” said Nate Impact.

Earlier that day, the Jolley brothers will also perform live at Holiday Sing alongside The Temptations and other popular artists at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Hosted by The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington, this multi-genre celebration of holiday traditions around the world features holiday classics and original compositions accompanied by a 15-piece chamber orchestra and a mass choir. Also according to the Center’s website, these renowned artists will perform alongside underserved youth to benefit arts instruction and inner-city programming that has served the Greater Washington area for more than 135 years.

Lion Impact Music Group requests for all new and unwrapped toy donations be dropped off at Sotto on December 22.
