WASHINGTON (November 8, 2018) - Founder of Mr. Bake, LLC Kareem “Mr. Bake” Queeman hosts tasting and viewing party for his premiere on Cake Boss’s Bake It Like Buddy on November 17 from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm in Washington, DC.

The America’s Best Baker DC first male winner’s debut on Bake It Like Buddy features Mr. Bake and his cousin, Teresa Brock who will compete in a head-to-head baking competition against another family duo at Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, NJ.

Buddy Valastro’s Bake It Like Buddy competition launched September 8 with each episode airing for half an hour. According to Discovery Family’s press release throughout the competition, Buddy and his family members inspire and help the bakers take their skills to the next level with tips, real-time feedback and design assistance. The contestants, spanning from professionals to emerging chefs to passionate weekend bakers, will have every fiber of their baking abilities tested as Buddy sets a unique challenge in each episode. With help from his own family and Carlo’s Bakery staff, Buddy and two members of his team mentor and judge the visiting family’s delicious creations on design, flavor, technique, finish and how well the contestants followed a central theme -- ranging from unicorns, sci-fi, 3D, Halloween and much more! The two teams have only four hours to design, bake, and decorate a cake. Bake It Like Buddy can be streamed live on Discovery Family GO and will also be available on demand the following day.

The show will air at 9pm eastern and food enthusiasts will be able to meet and greet with Mr. Bake, taste award-winning homemade mixes, fillings and creams made from scratch and network with some of the area’s notable food influencers and local business owners.
